My class starts at noon, but I have some minutes to spare, so I'm going to tell you all a little story about tired Emily. Tired Emily is pale white and cannot feel her fingers. Tired Emily's wrists hurt from bending awkwardly while typing in five different angles on top of Emily's bed. Tired Emily enjoyed the pesto dip at Starbucks, and also her coffees, but tired Emily would rather sleep than drink them, please. Tired Emily turned in her art history paper one day late. She hopes that she can get a B on it. She thought she did an okay job in terms of writing it, but she isn't an art history major, and this seems to be quite an obstacle. Tired Emily doesn't have much time left...if she wants to get something else to munch on during class, maybe to stay awake? Tired Emily really wants the $120 watch, even though it is so expensive. She misses being able to look at her wrist for the time.
But most of all, tired Emily wishes that this feeling of walking through water will go away. She really wants to walk faster than that.
