ASL Dragon

I took a nap after class this evening and had the most vivid, somewhat unnerving dream. Here's the back story: I have a 5 page paper due for ASL tomorrow, but I haven't started it. I was contemplating telling my professor that I won't be handing it in tomorrow, since I have a giant midterm on Wednesday that needs my attention (due to the fact that I'm doing horrendously in that class). It's kind of a douchebaggy thing to tell your teacher, I know. But I'm not sure what else to do. After killing myself over an EAS homework over the weekend, I am NOT going to be doing that again any time soon (I need at least a week to recover), especially for an elective. I'm sorry. I just can't manage my time well enough. I am doomed.

Anyway, in my dream, my ASL teacher found out that I didn't do my homework, and was not thrilled. Our assignment wasn't an essay, though; it was a connect-the-dots problem in our workbook. We had to connect the dots to make a dragon. I remember my professor standing over me while I struggled to finish connecting the dots, making comments like "never the day before" and "this is just appalling". Because I hadn't come prepared, I was instructed to draw a dragon by hand to share with the rest of the class. I specifically remember drawing certain parts of the dragon. Even 20 minutes after I had woken up, the image was still fresh in my head; so I drew it.
What the eff? Pencils for legs?? That' right, folks. This is even weirder than that dream I had about Commons serving "pizza pancakes" and then lowering into the ground (like that holo-detector thing from Wall-E) at closing time. And so much for the paper; I'll let you know if my teacher stands over me and signs "appalling". :-/
