So this was scary

Went to open my storage closet and turn on the light.  As I reached to turn on the light, the key in my hand touched the exposed light switch metal and sparks flew out at me.  Smell of burning and such, but nothing serious enough to set off the fire alarm.  I wasn't shocked or burned or anything... but I can't say the same for the key.

Kind of jarring, that.
