I went to Japan (and other things)

Recent things in the life of Emily:

• I went to Japan for two weeks and really enjoyed it; experiencing (in what little way I could) the culture over there had a profound effect on me. Still trying to sort out what that effect is. In the meantime, I can only hope that I'll be able to go back there again one day.

• I paid a visit to WNY to attend Grandma's memorial service and "met" family that I hadn't seen in 10+ years.  I also got a chance to look over some old pictures.  Anyone remember that time mom used to make me the yearly Christmas dress?

• I tried starting a twitter account for the Crocks, but it lost steam quite quickly (sort of expected that). Check it oot: https://twitter.com/CrockaLocka
